How to Access PIM
This article walks through how to access Proton PIM, including login steps, required permissions, user roles, and an overview of what users will see in the PIM dashboard after signing in.
Proton PIM is available directly within the Proton platform. Access is controlled by user permissions to ensure the right teams can manage and approve product data.
Accessing Proton PIM
To access Proton PIM:
- Go to Proton’s PIM URL (pim.proton.ai)
- Sign in with your email credentials.
- You’ll land on your PIM dashboard, where you can view your product catalog, review enrichment jobs, and manage uploads.
If you don’t see Proton PIM in your navigation, your user role may not include PIM access.
User Permissions & Roles
Access to Proton PIM is permission-based. Depending on your role, you may be able to:
- Upload and enrich products
- Review and approve enriched data
- Edit product attributes
- Export product data
- Manage schema or attributes (admin users)
If you need additional access, contact your Proton admin or Customer Success Manager.
What You’ll See When You Log In
When you first access Proton PIM, you’ll typically see:
- Dashboard – View Current State (Products Overview & Attributes by Category), Period Activity (AI Performance & Team Activity), and Recent Jobs
- Import / Upload tools – Add new products individually or in bulk
- Products – Your product records
- Taxonomy – Your pre-established hierarchical set up of products
- Users – List of active users in your PIM instance and associated roles
